My motivation was trying to live a long and healthy life. I wanted to inspire not only others who struggle with their weight but single mothers, teachers, open-heart surgery survivors and people who have thyroid issues. When I feel like giving up, I look at old pictures of myself and I encourage myself in the mirror by telling myself “you got this beautiful” ☺️
I alternate between months: one month is no meat then the next month is nothing white such as rice, potatoes, pasta and bread. I work out Monday through Friday at 4:30 am and 8 am on Saturday for about 30 to 45 minutes. Depending on my trainer’s schedule, I do weight training in the gym at least two to three times a week in the evening. I started at 300 lbs. and I now weigh 240 lbs.
I started my journey in July 2018 and I am currently still a working progress. I have learned to be stronger than your own doubts. When you don’t want to work out you should anyway. I advise others that want to lose weight to always remember why you started and don’t get comfortable.
