Transformation Tuesday-Where are they now? New Mom, Abby

A year ago Abby and husband Nick shared their IVF journey. Abby and Nick had been trying to conceive since 2017 and were not having any luck. Fast forward till today and Abby and Nick are now proud parents to beautiful baby girl, Peyton. Please read their update.

In early June 2019 we had our first FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) resulting in a successful pregnancy!  We had a picture-perfect pregnancy until 27 weeks when my water broke unexpectedly (12/19/19).  I would spend the next five weeks admitted in the hospital on bed rest awaiting baby Schultz’s arrival. During this time, Nick traveled back and forth between the house, work, and the hospital each day and worked on completing the nursery.

Peyton Elizabeth Schultz was born on January 22, 2020 (32 weeks) weighing 3 pounds and 15 ounces. She was small but strong! Nick and I spent the next month between home and the NICU waiting for Peyton too progress enough to be discharged.  On February 21, 2020 our family of three was finally all home together for the first time.  Our journey had several challenges ranging from infertility, to early water breaking (PPROM), extended hospital stays, and a preemie baby, but despite all of these obstacles we feel incredibly thankful and blessed. Our marriage is stronger than ever and our love for Peyton is exponential. Our family is complete.
